Description
Tomatillo Purple Coban is one sight to see! This variety originates from the beautiful mountain town of Coban in Guatemala. It's very popular in Guatemalan cuisine. The fruits grow about 2,5 centimeters in width, a little smaller than most varieties of tomatillo, and mature from green to purple-with-green-streaks or even completely purple. They have a nice, sweet flavor and are perfect for enjoying fresh or in salsa's. The plants requires lots of sun and warmth and can grow up to 120 centimeters, so they need some support.
