Description
The Rocoto chili pepper originates from the Andes Mountains in Peru, where it’s also called Manzano. Manzano means apple, because its shape resembles an apple. This chili pepper has unique black seeds and is very hot. The Rocoto often germinates more slowly than other peppers. When the plant is mature, it’s very resistant to low temperatures. The plant is about 60-100 cm tall. The pods are about 5 cm long and 5 cm wide and colour from green to yellow.

Not for all climates
Definitely not good for hot dry climate and lower elevations. If you live in cooler conditions - try it.
