Description
Jalapeno Dieghito originates from Italy and is a cross between a Jalapeño Farmer's Market Potato and presumably a Cherry Bomb. The chili peppers change from green to red as they ripen and feature characteristic cracking lines or corking on the exterior, similar to the Jalapeño Farmers Market Potato but to a lesser extent. These peppers have a unique heart or round shape and have a thick pericarp. They are particularly juicy and have mild heat. They are ideal for roasting, stuffing, making salsa, or pickling. The flavour is comparable to a Jalapeño but with a sweeter touch. 75 days from transplant.
