Description
Goronong is a chili pepper that originates from Malaysia. It is a very twisted, wrinkled and yellow-orange Habanero. Habaneros are not very common in Asia, making this pepper a unique sight. Goronong has a fruity, slightly tropical flavour, making it ideal for adding both heat and a hint of sweetness to dishes. In Malaysia it is widely used in sambals, marinades and sauces. Goronong is also used in salsas, chutneys and as part of curries to add a sweet, spicy kick.
