Description
‘Chilihuacle’ means ‘the ancient chili pepper’ and was already known to and used by the Aztecs. The mild chocolate brown fruits have a unique taste: that of sweet dried fruit with a hint of chocolate and tobacco. The dried pepper is a key ingredient in the classic ‘mole negro’ sauce from Oaxaca, Mexico.
