Description
‘De Arbol' means 'tree-like' in Spanish. This vigorous plant can reach a height of 120 cm in one season and resembles a tree. Chile de Arbol is similar to the Cayenne chili pepper, but has slightly less heat. The thin pods are about 10 cm long and color during ripening from green to red. This takes about 80 to 100 days after germination. This chili pepper originates from Mexico and dries well. In Mexico, it’s often used to make wreaths or ristas. Very good in salsas, soups and sauces.

very productive, dries and keeps very well
Grew this over three years ago and have only just run out of dried chillies from it. Very popular with friends - everyone has some in their kitchen cupboard. Growing it again this year to re-stock.

Lekkere peper, groeit omhoog
