Description
Cajamarca is a beautiful chili pepper from Peru, named after the century old Inca city of Cajamarca in the northern Andes. Cajamarca is also known by the Quechua name, Kashamarka. Which means land of thorns or Qasamarka which means cold land. Cajamarca is located at approximately 2,750 m above sea level. The 6-7 cm peppers mature from violet to yellow orange and then changes to a rich red colour. The heat is comparavle to a Habanero. It has a spicy-citrus fragrance and the classic habanero fruity undertone. Harvest: 80 days after repotting.
